Next, drive to the town, Sultan palace (literally Kraton) in Javanese language.

It is its structure and ornamentation are rich of Java’s symbolic meanings. Adjacent to the Kraton building, Ngasem traditional bird market has been dubbed as the oldest market in Yogyakarta region. Right behind the market, Tamansari complex, one of the remaining recreational spots used by royal family in the past. Once, said it was built on a small island with an artificial lake around it. Newly renovated main buildings with high wall, ruin of some water tunnels and a viewer point can be seen here. Further visit to complete the trip are Batik and Silver industry in Kotagede.
