My wife and I had an amazing 5 days trip in Jogja thanks to Mas Adi. Honestly speaking, I liked travelling independently and figuring things out for myself... read more and never considered hiring a private tour guide. But for this trip, it is much different as this is my first time travel with my wife. Hence, I have decided to hire a private tour guide and it was the best decision that I've made. Why? 1. Cheaper travelling cost - if you plan only to travel from point A to point B, it is much cheaper to use Grab / Uber / etc..but if you have a long list of places to visit, it is cheaper to hire private tour guide. 2. Hassle free - in Jogja, you need to drive for long hours from one destination to next. Not only that, Mas Adi will pick us up at the hotel as early as 330 a.m. for sunrise viewing. He will also send and wait for us patiently to places that we wish to go. 3. Knowledge sharing - Having someone who is well conversant with the area, Mas Adi briefed us the background stories and shared unique information concerning the sites visited. 4. Local cuisine - No trip is complete without exploring the local delicacies. For us, Mas Adi will give suggestions on what and where to try them.
