Merapi Trekking through Kaliurang Village

Merapi trekking through Kaliurang village located in the district of Sleman, 27km north of downtown Yogyakarta. Merapi trekking through Selo village

Selo village located in the district of Boyolali – Central Java, 70km from the city of Yogyakarta. With an altitude of 1200 meters above sea level. Selo village became the main base camp climbing to reach the top of Mount Merapi. Dawn ascent starts at 12.30 and will be on the road for 5jam up and down for 4 hours.

The main goal is to see the beauty climbing sunrise from the summit of Mount Merapi and also a sense of satisfaction because it can reach the summit of Mount Merapi. There are 3 posts of rest, the peak of the volcano is a peak Garuda. Garuda From the top, we could see the mountains – other mountain: Lawu, Merbabu, Sumbing and Sindoro. Temperatures ranging around 10 degrees Celsius climbing and advised to wear a jacket and also bring a drink and snack for lunch during the climb.

Merapi Trekking Important note:

Merapi mountain climbing event will be accompanied by a local guide who also has the requisite experience and fit body condition and will be guided to the summit of Mount Merapi. Some important things you need to prepare: Mountain Shoes, shirts, jackets, jeans are not recommended due to the cold temperatures.
